Each Sunday we have more to offer than just our worship services. Small group Bible studies meet with people their same age, who have similar interests or are going through some of the same challenges of life. Bible Fellowship is the avenue to personal Bible study and ministry. Classes meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. This is the best way to get connected to what is happening at our church. If you are considering NBG as a church home, we would love to have you as a part of our church family. The process is simple. At the close of today’s message, our counselors will be at the front of the sanctuary. This is the time to come forward and let one of the counselors know that you would like to join the church. They will welcome you and introduce you to a Decision Counselor.

If you are interested in becoming a member of New Birth Greenville you are invited to attend our next New Birth Greenville Forum 101 “New Member’s Class” on Sunday, September 12 & 19, 2010 @ 10:00 a.m. This class will be taught in two sessions by Elder Leroy and Sis. Chauncelynn Locklear. It is mandatory to attend both sessions to become a member of New Birth Greenville. 

Join us on Wednesday evening worship service at 7:00 p.m. We also have classes for children and youth.

Join us for prayer at our Greer campus on every Wednesday @ 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7:40 a.m. prayer will be held at our Greenville location. Prayer is lead by Elder Minnie Bell Benson and Sister Arnetia Dawkins.

Serive times are as following: Sunday Worship Services beging @ 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Night Services @ 7:00 p.m.

New Birth Greenville’s next fast will be September 1, 2, & 3, New Birth Greenville will have a 3 day corporate fast. This type of fast will continue the first 3 days of every month here at New Birth Greenville.

NBG will celebrate our Bishop, Bishop Getties L. Jackson, Sr., M.Div., our First Lady, Elder Anita Jackson and the First Family’s 21 Pastoral Anniversary. There will be a banquet held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 6:00 p.m. Dr. Anthony Negbenebor of Gardner Webb University will be the guest speaker for the evening. This event will take place at the Marriott Hotel, One Parkway East, Greenville, SC. Dr. Herbert Baily will be the guest speaker Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. here at NBG, Dr. Baily is the Senior Pastor of Right Direction Christian Center in Columbia, SC. There will be more information to come.

The Double Honor Ministry will be selling Anniversary Banquet tickets today and after each service. The price is $45 per person. There are Anniversary assessments for Elders/Ministers/Deacons, Ministry Leaders, Ministries and Members. All assessment checks for our First Family should be written out to our Bishop and First Lady. Please see any Double Honor Ministry member for assistance.

Beach Body Fitness program is here! There will be a Beach Body Fitness Program presentation here at NewBirth Greenville on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 @ 7:00 p.m.

NBG is implementing a new method for the Dare2Change Ministry for security purposes. Parents are asked to sign each child in that is entering the Educational facility. This will be enforced for each child. If the parent is absent or is unable to do so then the child will remain in the sanctuary for services held on Wednesday night and Sunday morning.

Dare2Change will have a Block Party August 21 from 2:00 pm at the Greer City Hall

Sunday School & Small Groups are held @ 10:00 a.m. We have classes for all ages including, children, youth, college and career, singles and family class and we also have a traditional adult Sunday School class.

Dare2Change will have a Block Pary August 21, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Greer City hall outside area located on Poinsett Street in Greer. There will be food, lots of music, games, floats and vendors. Volunteers are needed; please sign up in the rear of the Elder Mamie Lee Jackson Family Life Center. There is no admission fee. All are invited to attend.

Feed the Need Ministry provides free groceries and ministry support to families within the community every 3rd Saturday from 10 a.m. to Noon at our Greer Campus. There will be a free car wash and food available. Any nonperishable donation would be greatly appreciated. Please see Elder Anthony Clark for additional information.

Financial Peace Planning by Dave Ramsey will be taught by Elders John and Andell Corley beginning August 15, 2010. This class will include self ovulation of where you are now financially and developing a financial plan to get to where you would like to be. There will also be information given on investments, mutual funds and insurance. Date TBA. Contact Elders John & Andell Corley and Sis. April Duckett for additional information.

A Baptismal Service will be held Sunday, August 22, 2010 during our 11:00 gn up in thef the Mamie Lee Jackson Family Lfe Center. All who sign up should sign up an instruction hand out located in the rear of the Mamie Lee Jackson Family Life Center.

The Karen Jackson Bush will preach her initial sermon Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.

There will be a Men’s Ministry meeting / breakfast held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. All men are invited to attend.

If you are an elder, minister, leader, praise team leader, choir member, and teacher, this class is for you. There will be a leadership meeting Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. All leaders are required at attend.

Destiny Seeker Ministry will be going to the USC vs Alabama game on October 9, 2010. The ticket price is $65 per person. The deadline to pay for tickets is September 8, 2010 following Wednesday evening service. See Bro. George and Sis. Ashley Hendrix for additional information.

There will be a Singles Gathering held on Friday, September 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. all singles are invited to attend.
