New Birth Greenville is located at 3315 Brushy Creek Road in Greer, South Carolina. Our ministry focuses on practical Christian education through thoughtful Bible Study, and the application of God’s Word in every aspect of our lives. We are excited about what God is doing, and we invite you to come join us!

Our beginning.
Bishop Getties L. Jackson,
Sr., M. Div. and First Lady De’Anita Jackson were
called and licensed into Christian ministry on August 4,
1985. Pastor Jackson served as senior pastor at Mt Nebo
Baptist Church in Lake Lure, North Carolina from 1989 –
1993. Pastor Jackson also served as senior pastor at Enoree
Fork Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina from 1993 –
1997. In 1997, the Lord led Pastor Jackson to begin a new
ministry called United Christian Ministries (UCM).
First Sunday Service.
United Christian Ministries' first Sunday morning worship service was held March 16, 1997 at the Holiday Inn Express on Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina. On April 7, 1997 U.C.M. Sunday morning worship service was held at the Comfort Inn Executive Center on Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville, South Carolina.
After a short stay at the Comfort Inn, U.C.M. moved to the Jean M. Smith Library in Greer, South Carolina where Sunday morning and Wednesday night services were held until October 1997.
A Growing Church.
In October 1997, UCM relocated to 22 Boland Court in Greenville, South Carolina. In this facility the Lord blessed the ministry with approximately ninety families.
On June 29, 2001 God blessed U.C.M. to purchase eight acres of property on Brushy Creek Road in Greer, South Carolina.
On August 5, 2001, U.C.M. moved to a larger facility located at 325 South Buncombe Road in Greer, South Carolina. This move enabled U.C.M. to do more for the Kingdom of God.
On May 30, 2004, we were blessed by the grace of God to acquire and move into our current location at 3315 Brushy Creek, Greer, South Carolina.
July 1, 2006, after much prayer
Bishop Getties and Elder Anita Jackson met with the United
Christian Ministries Church family to make the announcement
official. We will officially become New Birth Greenville
January 1, 2007. Our week long Unity and Induction Conference
will be held March 11-15, 2007. Bishop Eddie L. Long (Bishop
Jackson's spiritual father) is our key note speaker. |
